Where’d this bolt come from? + Earth X battery question

Inspecting a new-to-me cub, and found this bolt in the left wing when I opened up the inner most aft inspection cover. Who can tell me where it came from?!

Also need a new battery… Got an Earth X but I’m wondering if they are plug-and-play like any other battery, or does it require any special wiring or anything? (I have close to 0 electrical knowledge…:roll

Here’s the alternator/wiring if that helps at all…

Also want to say thank you for Steve + Steve for putting together the “Inspecting the PA18 Super Cub - Where to Look and What You’ll Find” YouTube presentation… Invaluable info especially for a new cub owner! (I watched all three parts twice (that’s over 10 hours of listening to Steve talk haha) thank you guys!!!

Size of the EarthX is dictated by the output of the alternator. When you talk to EarthX let them know that you have a 50 amp alternator and they will tell you which battery will match best. No special wiring involved but they do have a warning light available that is a good idea to install.

Earth X makes an approved battery for the PA18 but there are pros and cons. You might read this thread but for sure read the articles linked in it to better educate yourself on the battery. https://www.supercub.org/forum/showthread.php?51192-Earth-X-batteries-ok-or-not/page2

Yes Sir Mr Steve, I too found your videos very helpful and watch them over again come annual time........Although,, I now find myself saying
