What points do I use to level my PA-12 for rigging? Have been told that there is a screw in the upper part of the door frame that you hang a plumb bob from and line it up with a mark on the floor. This sounds pretty inacurate, particularly in that my PA 12 has no screw holes in the door frame and the floor is new. Would the upper or lower door frames or the window frames work? What about the lower surface of the wing?
Also, what do you use for datum to calculate the weight and balance. From the old W&B it looks like the wing leading edge is used.
And finaly, does anyone know where we could get the stamped "PIPER" emblems that go on each side of. the cowlings.
