Left Side Swing-Up Window

Steve,

Thanks for the web site. It is a great resource. I am in the process of recovering a PA-125 STC'd to a 150. I would like to replace the left side windows with a swing-up window like the upper half of the right side clam-shell door. The local FAA folks seem to think the forward vertical window channel is a structural member. It is not and in fact is listed as a separte part in the old parts manual I have. It will have to be removed in the mod I have in mind. I have heard of other Cubs modified this way but have not been able to find an STC or any other information on it. Does anyone know of an STC or another way to get this modification approved without going Experimental?
