Heel brakes

Cable/rod between front and back brakes.

Hello-

I am rebuilding my cub and am wondering if there is a better way to connect the front and back pedals other than using the stock coat hanger? It would be nice if it was legal too.

I have never had any problems with the coat hangers. I have seen adjustable rods, somewhat like those on your tail braces - but probably need a field approval to do it legally. Might be heavier, and every ounce helps.

I have seen stainless rods with rod ends and 1/8" cables swagged also. Haven't ever noticed the paperwork.

Not stock, geometry right, no rods to deal with. Put these in this Cub 15 years ago.
