Sorensen tank with float fittings

Has anyone installed a Sorensen tank on a Cub with float fittings? From looking at pictures it seems that there would be an iterference issue. The Sorensen tanks appear to be as wide as the longerons with no cutouts for float fittings.

I have done the reverse with bolt on fittings. There is interference.

How hard was it to clearance the tank around the fittings? Hack saw and some fiberglass work?

I took the tank off. Yes cut & glass. Use float fittings for tank straps.

Check out the Landes tank, they have cut outs for the flying wires. If it was me I would go with the Landes for floats and save the Sorensen for wheels. Do you have the 60 or 90 gallon tank?

I'm on wheels. Just happened to have float fittings. Landes tank is $$$$
