SC at Old Warden, Beds, U.K.

A relatively new arrival at Old Warden is PA18-150, G-SVAS, S/N 18-7605. This Super Cub is used for glider tows frequently. On May 15, at the Evening Fly, G-SVAS was matched up to a rare German 1930s vintage Goppingen Minimoa BGA 1738 Sailplane that was just plain beautiful with its cranked wing pirouetting at an incredibly slow air speed.

Dayum I sure like the color of that Super Cub. I took this one of mine early Monday morning while trout fishing. I need to come visit and fly that Cub over England skies. Looks like some bloke realizes that if it ain't RED it ain't RIGHT.

Several Dragon Rapides around both at Old Warden and at Duxford. A ride was $60 or take a ride in a Tiger Moth for $150. Aviation fuel over $10/US gal.

Reg Numbers always interest me. N3993P is on a Stearman I flew a bunch. BTW, I love the red Cubs.
