There is also an IO-580 built by Lycoming. Most of the unlimited aerobatic guys are flying behind them.

308 lbs. for the IO-390, which prop would you put on it to utilize the horsepower?
I don't think we'll see any of the major automotive manufacturers watching this in hopes to steal some cutting edge technology! :D
I do think the IO-360-X is very appealing as is for the cub. I would love to see it approved.

My decaying brain cells remember about 260lbs for 0-320 and 270 lbs for 0-360. The IO-360-X was 275 lbs.
It makes you wonder whether you should just put high compression NSF pistons in a 0-360. I would still go with the IO-360 -X if it were approved.
