Same problem in Clam Gulch. Two brown sows, one with 3 cubs, getting a little too close. All the Moose calves have disappeared. Guess I will have to sight my 338 in too.
Sow and two cubs in Kasilof also, Just running around no bother yet ,but did just buy the wife bear spray. I think the 338 would be better but she won't to carry it.

And the Fin, Fur and Feathers boys are saying the Kenai Brown Bear population is of special concern because of low numbers!!! You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a bear around here. I have noticed many cow moose this year that should be accompanied by calves but they aren't.
