Wing Strut Length

My Clipped-wing project using Colt wings needs special length struts that I am trying to
make. I wanted to have them as long as possible to use max number of fork threads.
I have made one side and may have made the rear too long. I need some advice on how
to position wing for a good measurement. The wing is on with the struts holding it up. The
main (Front) seems OK (Not too long) because with the front spar carry thru tube leveled the
wing tip end is below level meaning I need to turn out fork to raise. How should I position
to measure rear strut? Is desired wash-out about 1 1/2 inches (up at the tip)? What do I level with what before adding in the 1 1/2 inches? These may not even be the right questions to ask but hopefully enough for readers to understand the problem.

Thanks

I may be in better shape than first thought, The tail is suspended by rope to ceiling so I dropped tail down until
wing root rib bottom was level and then moved out to last rib near wing tip and noted that bottom of rear spar was
level with front spar bottom if I added 1 inch block of wood to bottom of rear spar. Does this mean I have 0ne inch
of wash-out and by turning out fork of rear strut I could increase?

Thanks
Jim Miller Also what is the handling inplications if I rig the airplane to have zero dihedral when I get it flying?
