Wing Fuel Tank Bracing

I need to add a 17 or 18 gal RH wing tank in my J4A, similar to the J4E, but I cant find any drawings of the J4E RH wing tank install.
I am in the process of building a data package for a DER/DAR-T to review for approval.

I am thinking on using a PA-12 tank with the bottom fuel gauge since i will have a headliner in my cabin.
Cub Club offers a 337 for a PA-18 fuel tank in a J4A, I have tried to buy it from them but get no response.

What I need to know is what to do about the drag brace wires.
Do I just omit them in the first 2 bays or use a single rigid tube through the tank like the PA-18?
This is a wood spar wing with 16 ribs.?
Does any one know how the J5 or early AP-12 wings are braced around the tank.
Also any input on using PA-18 the over under tank straps on a wood spar wing?

Any thoughts, input or pictures are appreciated!

Tad

Stock j-5 and -12 wings have standard brace wires underneath the tank. Should be able to use -12 type straps that tension ahead of the spar- I don’t recall the j-5 wood spar strap configuration...

Thanks for the tip.
I did call him a while back, but he didn’t have much info on the J4.
I’ll have to do some digging and see if I can see what the brace wires under the tank look like.
Thanks
Tad
