A beautiful late winter day and I popped up. A guy in a Zenith was in the area and we checked out the gravel bars in the river. He had a drone and took a few pictures.

Boy do you chaps have fun....can't match it but here is a picture of me flying past Birmingham (U.K.) on route from Bidford Airfield to Milfield Airfield via the Manchester low level corridor last Saturday. First time I have done that route and was a glorious winter day!

Finally had a decent day after all the crazy wind to play on the Brazos River. As I was flying the river I spotted a good set of antlers on a short/wet bar. My Mom made a request for more antlers, seems the squirrels like to chew on them and not so much on other things she doesn't want them shewing on in her garden.

So after playing for a while and on the way back I decided to land here, shed my shoes and socks and wade across to retrieve them. The rocks were sharp and the water was cold but it was worth it.

We had one nice day this week. I flew into Idaho from Montana.

This is the state line; MT on the left and ID on the right.

Some on here will recognize this lake and strip in Idaho. The higher country has a lot of snow with more coming through the weekend. Today is the first day of spring but it’s still all winter up here.

I met a SuperCub.org friend today - George Campbell! He was traveling through Wyoming from Alaska. I’ve been traveling a couple times and gotten a Birds Eye view (from Steve Pierce and Steven Stidham). I’m thrilled to be able to participate the reciprocal. Maybe we’ll get in a seaplane if he makes it back in the fall!
