Set a new altitude record for my Cub, just shy of 14,000. At the left end of the ridge here is a local feature called "the window", just a square chunk cut from the ridge. Our of the frame on the right is Pyramid Peak, at just over 14,000 ft. San Juan Mts, Southwest Colorado.

I stayed in the traffic pattern at 3N8 tying to improve my grandson's takeoffs and landings in my 7AC. A few more sessions and we will need to find a tailwheel instructor.

25 miles south of Marthas Vineyard Mass. Local method of cutting global warming by installing windmills to make electricity. As you can see, there's not a lot of wind today. I could have landed anywhere. There are currently 10 windmill bases installed on the ocean floor. The crane is about 800 feet tall.

Does the river rise here during the flood season? It looks like low tide on a tidal river.
