Great find! Fascinating footage. My Uncle fought on Saipan.

If you want to see something interesting, go to Google maps and pull up a satellite map of Tinian. Go to the north end of the island and you will see what's left of the four runways. If you look just above the northernmost runway you will see an odd hardstand area with two parallel bomb loading pits. Zoom in on them. Yup, those two pits are exactly what you think they were for.
