Hello Everyone,
After over 14 months of work, we were finally able to get the PA-12 added to our existing exhaust and Hartzell Propeller STC's. Everything is almost identical, except for PA-12 owners will need to now use two independent PA-18 heat boxes instead of the present combination cabin air / cabin heat box. I was also able to add some goodies for the entire PA-18/12 gang. Along with the exhaust STC, you will also have the approval to install a light weight oil cooler on the left rear engine baffle, and use the old hole left in your nose bowl as a big cabin heat scoop. The oil cooler we use is the Niagara 20003 which is considerable bigger than the standard 20002 cooler presently being used in many applications. This little modification will allow considerably greater cooling in the summer, and also much more heat in the winter. You will have to buy your own cooler through your local vender, but at least you will have the required paperwork for free, as our exhaust system price will remain the same. In addition, I was also able to include wording which will allow you to shorten the tailpipe somewhat, or redirect it as desired. Hopefully this will help the guys flying ski's that have the engine mounted tip bungee. I sincerely appreciate the comments and feedback I have received from our customers, and I hope these little improvements will help all of those using our products. If there are any of our past customers that would like a copy of the revised STC, just let me know and I will send it right out. (Free) Thanks again for the business!
