And sometimes the "jump top new" button jumps me, but not all the way to new.I like the new set up, but...
is there any way to add a "go to new posts" when clicking on a thread?
Used to be a button on each thread "since last visit", now theres one "jump to new".
But a couple times when I initially clicked on the thread (on the "new posts" page)
it jumped me to new automatically.
Next time give it a second or two. I think it is a performance issue, but am not sure yet.And sometimes the "jump top new" button jumps me, but not all the way to new.
Ok, I think I see what you are talking about. It seems to work part of the time. It's on the list! And sometimes the "jump top new" button jumps me, but not all the way to new.
I hope you figure out how to get last post first when opening thread.I am also trying to figure out an @cubdriver2 button so that when you open a thread there is a way to get to the last post quickly.

I've looked and looked, it is not a feature of this forum like it was with vBulletin. There are some third-party add ons that do it, but it happens for all users and most prefer it the other way. I've not given up on, but that's where we are at at the moment.I hope you figure out how to get last post first when opening thread.
If we want to go back and look at an earlier post it's a pain. I'm starting to get John Elway fingers

The little circle next to the time with the triangle in it brings up the last post first.I hope you figure out how to get last post first when opening thread.

Where do you find that? The little circle next to the time with the triangle in it brings up the last post first.
See the little circle at the right end of each thread posting? That's it. Touch it and you go direct to the last post.Where do you find that?
I not only don't see the triangle-in-circle, I don't even see the time.
When I visit this site, I go first to the forums page, then (now) hit the "new posts" button.
When I click on a thread, sometimes it takes me to the newest post, sometimes not.
When it doesn't, i hit the "jump to new" button"... which sometimes jumps me & sometimes not.
So under the "like" button, you have options for Thanks, Like, Love, Wow, Sad and Angry. I'm sure we could assign 6 dwarfs to fill those names, but noticably missing is any sort of laughing response. I think they called him Happy.
I laughed at a couple recent posts but I didn't want to reply, just to show I laughed. That's like posting a photo of your food, just to show what you ate, isn't it?
Thank you Steve, I think I got it! Yes you took out the wrong picture..I switched it.Quick video on how to fix it: here
NOTE: you have to turn "edit bbcode" back off or it will stay on for your next posts...
You can post pictures in replies, just click the little picture icon. Thanks for the reply, SJ, but I'm without a clue as to what the remaining steps are -- a screen pops up that wants some more info that I don't understand -- all I know is that I can't take a photo that I have on my hard drive and get it to appear on a reply to another member's private message. Now what, give up?
Peter, what you have now is better than an app. What has changed your behavior is the lack of an icon on your handheld screen to click. It takes five seconds to create one from any browser you are using on your handheld device.I’ll try to keep this thought condensed, but at times the human mind, idiosyncrasies and human nature intrigue me.
Forums/places like Supercub attract us, more during seasons when we fly less, and less during the seasons we fly more. But there is also a convenience factor apparently. While for a forum interface on a handheld device this new software really does well. But I just realised this evening that I (we?) have grown so accustomed to apps and the ease of use, that I don’t “click on the web” and open Supercub up as frequently as I did when we had an app.
I expect that this holds true with any heavy user of handheld devices. In reality, the handheld device was designed for app use.
Yes, SJ, you should get one back.![]()
