I texted back and forth with him earlier today. He said they are fine, just a lot of trees down. He added that the area around him is a complete disaster.

All good here at our house, limited cell coverage and internet but very fortunate. Power never went off. Lots of trees across pasture fences and driveway but not anything a chainsaw and tractor cant take care of. Tremendous damage to roads, bridges, homes, businesses and power lines all through eastern TN and western NC.

Thanks to all that texted to check on us, it was really appreciated.
