Anybody know where to get the sliding window "U" channel. Univair is very expensive. I ordered an antique car restoration catalog. I will see if they have it but if anyone has a source I would appreciate it.

Steve-

If you can send me a drawing or somthing similar I can have the shop that does all of our sheet metal give me a price. They are stamping and forming a lot of small parts that were missing from my project. They have the same punches and presses as airframes inc...nice stuff:)

Like cubdrvr said my local glass company has that in stock. I went by last Friday to get some and while there spied some very light but stiff stormdoor alum. molding to use instead of wood stringers for exp.

Channel

Where do I get, and what size is the channel that these felt lined sliders go into. I want to make a fold up left side window that will also have sliders in it. I will just fill the origional steel channels with wood so I have a flat surface then hinge a fold up frame at the top same as right side.

JC Whitney. The last time I bought it at Stoddards they had it in 7' lengths for around $38. Crash
