Reasonably priced super cub

Had one in 1962-65. Rode it to school and work then sold to move to Alaska. They were about $400 in Wisconsin. A shop in California offered a high compression piston, open exhaust, and a larger main jet for the Keihin carb. I may own one again. Now they're 125cc. Like McDonalds millions were sold around the world. "You meet the friendliest people on a Honda".

In high school in the early sixties my ride was a Lambretta 150 scooter. I was a long way from the school and even rode it a few times in the winter when conditions allowed.

Most popular two wheel gas scooter ever built - they have sold over 100 million.

...."You meet the friendliest people on a Honda".

As I recall, it was "you meet the nicest people on a Honda".
Good advertising, as the Hells Angels & other 1%er clubs were getting a lot of media attention in the mid sixties.
