Prop position on shutdown

What would cause the prop to not stop in the standard position? It is not a regular thing only happens sometimes. Idle is set to 650 rpm.

My guess. Not enough energy left in the prop to turn it to the proper position. You should be leaning and raising idle before stoping to help keep plugs clean. Another thing could be internal binding when hot. Make sure mags are off and pull prop through when hot, feel for evasive resistance also check cold and hot end play on crank. Your high oil temps cold be a sign of internal binding.
