Part of the magic of flying is to be able to look down and see interesting patterns on the ground. This time of the year we see many corn mazes in Minnesota and I thought I’d take a picture and share with you folks. I know that Bill Tracy takes some pictures of some pretty strange looking things from the air and I thought maybe this be a good place for people to share things like that that they’ve seen. Please join in!

Hey, folks, these are pretty terrific photos! Makes me smile and aware of how lucky we are to be able to gain these views! It also serves as a reminder of how important it is for us to be proactive in preserving our privilege of flight!

Thanks for sharing, friends!

I took a lady friend up once who was raised in a farming family, but went on to become highly educated, and was about 40 years old. As we approached her parent's operation, she loudly exclaimed, in some wonderment, "oh, look at all those big circles!" Pivot irrigation has been in common use in SE Idaho for decades, but seemed to be news to her. She was blonde, not that that matters.

Too easy Mike! Like me posting a pic of the Tetons!

A local Robinson helicopter pilot put this water ski pond in recently, and did a fine job of it, he even built a boathouse.

So, post a picture of the Tetons.... We have a waterski pond near here that supposedly belongs to the potato chip family. Never seen anyone skiing on it or even a boat. Would be fun in a Husky on floats......
