For those that have been checking in daily to see what kind of "junk" I will come up with next, I must apologize. Finally a medical problem may have caught up with me that I was worried about when Steve and Dana gave me this special area some 5 months ago to share my aviation life with their members. As many have seen, my early stories were written very fast, not edited properly and talk about spelling? What accurate spelling and grammar and after all, I have two different spell checkers. It was done in a hurry to get as much out as fast as I could just in case and it seems many have enjoyed my stories no matter how bad they were written since there was never a comment about grammar and spelling. After some 30,000 views in 5 months should tell me something. Thanks guys/gals. Sure mades my day.
I may try to bring forward some really interesting old stories I have told in the past as I have been doing in the past and edit them a lot with more information and may try a story once in a while. We will see what I can do. Just remember, I will always be able to read what you great guys/gals are talking about and that will help me.
When things get better (I always think positive) I will try to get back to yanking the chain on that old light bulb and see what junk I can pull out again. Hope that little old light bulb is not burned out though but does the bulb ever go out in a frig when the door is closed?
I must say, without exception, I appreciate the reception by everyone for the sharing of my aviation and Maui life by so many world wide and at the same time, learning so much from the current pilots in Alaska and elsewhere about GA aviation. You guys and gals have helped so many do things right but that is what aviation is all about and especially Steve''s web site for the ability to do that.
Steve, because of you and your members, this has to be the greatest aviation web site on the Internet and I have watched and read many, if a person wants to learn something about Cubs, aviation or just being friends.
As General McArthur said in WW II, "I shall return". I hope to do the same thing soon so hold the area for me Steve, I will be back, God willing.
