Pa22 colt - 160 on floats - info

Hi
just wondering if anyone has any experience in a pa22 on floats with a 160hp engine. Im looking for a reasonably priced floatplane and there is one of these locally for sale. I dont need incredible performance, just the ability to get around between several lakes. Im told that it has comparable performance to a c-172 150 on floats. Currently that is what Im renting. Its on 1800 pk. It currently doesnt have a float prop, and Im told it performs quite well with it.
