Steve, this is not an Ad, I'm giving these away! :D

I have the following drawings from Piper date stamped 1954.
14100 Cover assy topdeck (complete)
13308 Door assy topdeck
13312 Cover assy topdeck (fullsized)
the last one is a large fully dimensioned construction drawing.

These are drawings to build the metal top deck at the back of the cabin on the Ag Super Cub (PA-18A). They are very good condition and came out of a latch kit from Piper that was never used. i.e. they have never been laying around a workshop.

Lets face it now days it's very unlikely someone will want to build an original ag style top deck for a Super Cub. But I just can't bring myself to throw these away. If anyone wants them I will post them free of charge anywhere in the world. Just PM me with contact details.

Cheers,
Andrew from New Zealand.

It would be nice that whoever gets them send a copy to Cub Club so everyone can get access to them

I have an 56 18A and would also pay for a copy. John Scott if you get these please PM me so I can arrange with you for a copy.
Thanks
John

My PM to Andrew was that I would share copies with Cub Club, Clyde Smith, Jr. and anyone else that wanted copies.

If yoou haven't given them away yet, how about giving them to Steve Pierce. He would use them and be in a position to share them with people as they need them. I have a 1955 A model cub and would love to have them. Steve would as well I am sure. One thing about it if Steve gets them they will get put to better use.

Sorry for the slow response. It wasn't too hot this morning, so I went flying.

If its OK with everyone, I'm going to send them to John Scott as he has offered to share them and make sure they get to the right homes.

Thanks John!

I am a bit surprised at the level of response, I thought I might be throwing them away, but now we could use many copies!

Cheers,
Andrew.

Andrew sent me a couple of copies of the above drawings a few weeks ago. I set them in the shop to look at later and they got lost in the clutter. I straightened up today and pulled them out. It looks like what you would need to build a hopper lid. Lots of doublers etc. spot welded on. I don't want to attempt to build one off the prints but it appears it could be done. I will get them to Kinkos next time I am in the big city and make a digital copy and send a set of originals to the Cub Club. Thanks Andrew for not throwing them away.

Hello Steve ! Any chance you get some decent pictures of the drawings? I am missing the hopper small lid
