PA-12 Wingtip Light (Red Lens) Replacement Part

Super Cruisers: Swapping out the bulb on the port (red) wingtip light, I managed to drop the red glass lens and, of course, it shattered into 30 pieces. Now I'm trying to locate a replacement red glass lens, but I'm striking out like a MLB pitcher! Does anyone have any suggestions / websites they'd recommend for finding a replacement lens?

thanks, Bob...I'll give that a try! I ordered a different lens from Aircraft Spruce and it was too small, but hopefully this one does the trick!

If your lights look like ray guns you are probably out of luck. They were larger lenses.

I got a replacement locally in Anchorage at Stoddards a couple years ago. Pricey little piece of glass.

The link Bob listed should be the correct part. Has two tits that a wire bail sits in to retain the lens.

Q: What are the dimensions of the Grimes A-1233A?
The dimensions are 1.5 x 2 x 2 per the manufacturer.

I've got these. Nav lenses are 1.5" at the base. Free to a good home.

The lens for that original Grimes light on the PA12 is 2” OD.
