PA-12 carb. heat box

I'm trying to figure out which heat box I have. Its getting a bit sloppy around the shaft and could stand a rebuild kit. I can't find a part number on it but it looks like a Continental # 530852 which is listed as the airbox for the O-300. Does this sound right? The filter housing is a Brackett # 5110. The engine is an O-320. Any help would be appreciated. Also, where would be a good place to send this (west coast preferably) to have the work done. It looks like it has to unbrazed to be disassembled and re-brazed after the fact. I don't know if I want to tackle this myself. Thanks, Perry.

I have rebuilt a few of them. Most of the time the flapper is junk and it is easier to make a new one. I milled a slot in some stock and then cut a flapper blank, and then used an arbor press to form the "U" where the hinge pin gets brazed on by pressing a AN-3 bolt into the groove.

Try Atlee Dodge he can do it but you will have to ship it to Alaska. Very common problem with any of the Carb heat Boxes
