Four airplanes into Great Valley [N56] for lunch yesterday. They were a PA-11, a PA-12, a PA-18 Top Cub, and a Cessna 150/150 TW. The Top Cub is on bush wheels and the rest on skis.
Three airplanes into Ridge Road West [7NK4] for lunch today. A PA-11, PA-12, and a Taylorcraft F-21, all on skis.
It hasn't been cold enough long enough in western NY for lake ice thick enough to land on. Those that have any ice at all on them heve 4 inches max. Thick enough for some Ice fishermen but not for me. After tomorrow, there won't be any snow on the ground at my place for at least a week.
