Need help with Summit Skis

Hi there guys and gals. I bought Summit skis 2 years ago from Mike Custard and just finished my American Super Legend with 3x3 gear. Went to put the skis on and the lengths of the cable were made for just a 3-in extension so they are short for my application. Does anyone have Summit skis for a 3x3 landing gear configuration? If so I would like to get the lengths of the wires front and back so I can make up a new set. I've talked to cub crafters but can't get an answer from them. I understand they've only owned it for 2 days so I don't expect much help from them in the near future and I wanted to put the skis on this weekend over Christmas. Hopefully somebody can measure their cables. I have the larger of the two skis that Mike offered. Thanks for your help.

Holy smoke Bob I had a set of front cables off my Carbon cub 3 x3 gear I just sent them to Doug Turnbull. He is using my Summits while I try out set of datum’s. He might be able to give you an accurate eye to eye measurement. But as the cheeseman said it’s not a difficult task. There is an advisory circular you can follow aswell

I reached out to cub crafters for this question on my Summit skis 4 weeks ago, left three messages with Peter. Talked to the receptionist and she said she would talk to him next time she he walked by her desk which happens everyday. Still waiting for a damn phone call from him. Obviously cub crafters is not interested in helping a prior summit ski owner. I've about had it with them. Three years ago I talked with the Northeast representative, Mark, and he was going to get back to me within 2 weeks to let me try a carbon cub. Again, he never got back to me. That's why I own legend cub. I don't know if anybody else has problems with cub crafters but I seriously have reservations about their company. I have my plane all settled with no problems whatsoever as far as the skis are concerned. Thanks to Glenn and everybody else that help me through this.

So... One year later STILL waiting for CC to get back to me... 🤔😴

bob.

I don’t believe you can find anyone more helpful or knowledgeable about rigging skis, than our own turbo beaver, the distinguished gentleman from Brookton. He has all the tools and all the parts and the knowledge how to do it. I can’t imagine if you meet him at Lincoln at his hanger, you can rig your skis in an hour

Jim, Glenn helped me last year and it's set up just perfect. I was only commenting about the lack of apparent caring of a certain company to help customers out. I know they did not own Summit when I bought mine but I was hoping for a little bit of help which never was forthcoming.

Bob I’m happy to help you with anything you need or want for the skis. As far as following up, at the WAD in NH we spoke ever so briefly about the FX3 and you said you were happy with the 150TD and you would reach me if you had more interest in a Carbon cub. I’ve not been reached to date. Sorry about the confusion. Please call me if you indeed need help. Thank you Mark

Sorry for the confusion. Yours and my memories have two different recollections of the conversation. Thanks again, Bob
