My road to Supercub ownership

I'd been hunting for the right Supercub project for the past year or so but the prices are very high and with the economy and what's been going on at work well, let's just say I haven't been making much headway. So I took a different tack - I bought a '46 Luscombe 8E project. It's complete and in very good shape and I got it for a great price. I think I can turn it around for a profit and be one big step closer to my Supercub dream plane. Of course when I put the for sale sign on it next spring I'll ask a ludicrously exorbiant price so no one will buy it and I can fly it around for a year or so.

The Luscombe is a rediculously simple airplane for restoration purposes if you have a straight, corrosion free airframe to start with. My trip is I just love to fix and build things so in my search for a Supercub project I'm willing to accept just about anything down to a wreck with a dataplate and logbooks if the price is right. I'm not looking to get off cheap, just want to utilize my skills, occupy my time and spread the total cost out over a few years.

So, am I still welcome to hang out here as a Luscombe owner?
