Melozi Hotsprings Airstrip near Ruby, AK?

Has anyone been to or know about the Melozi Hotsprings airstrip near Ruby, AK? Also is the airstrip near the HotSpot on the Haul road closed? I've seen an X on the runway but herd some supercubs have landeed there before? I'm pretty new to flying out of the Fairbanks area and have a Citabria that I would like to find some cool places to go. Eric

The strip on Melozi washed out half way down it in about 94. It's pretty brushed in now. BLM cleared enough of it out for a helicopter. People land on the hill side in the winter on skis. The Hotspot airstrip is in pretty nice shape really, some sinking and heaves but nothing your Citabria can't handle.
