Arrived safely back at home base just ahead of the rain. Thanks to all who helped make my "little adventure" fun and safe. Jim McLaughlin of Buffalo Wy. for your courtesy car and fuel service. Wayne Mackey of Miles City for the Grand Tour of your shop and especially for sharing your hanger while I sat on a combine. The nite you took me in I believe I was told no less than 15 fires were started by lightning I sure felt better knowing my old 12 was secure right next door to all those fire fighters. Thanks to Dave Hartman for getting all this started for me. Thanks to Mr Lemmon of Billings for the fine mountain tour in your beautiful 185--good to see you again after so many years. Thanks also to the Rubberts of North Dakota--without you my 12 flying would still be just a dream. It is all the Good People who make the airplane world so special. ---Geezer Dan

You are going to have to come back out later this fall and get some more stories from grandpa. He was telling me some more just the other day. It was nice to see you again and look forward to another visit.
