Looking to buy a later model PA-18 ('79+)

We are looking to purchase a later model (1979+) PA-18 150. Low time, no damage, and must have complete logs from new. Higher time engine is okay. If you are thinking about selling this fall or know of someone looking to sell please let me know. Thank you in advance.

I was curious. I don't like the heavier feel of the metal ailerons compared to the fabric. I have rebuilt several late 70s early 80s Super Cubs and it was apparent that Piper was loosing the tribal knowledge. Holes drilled in tubes for the interior instead of in the U channels like had always been the practice. Other little things as well. I was just curious. Thanks.

'79+ is when Super Cubs started with metal flaps and that is a plus for us. '79 also gives a reference for what we mean by later model.

I have a '78 that has metal flaps and ailerons. Not selling - just an FYI that the metal flaps started at least as early as '78.
