LC18XL belly pod

Ive been looking into the STC for the XL pod and can only find approvals for '150's. I'm flying a PA-18 125 with an O-290-D2. Has anyone had luck with a field approval? After my planned engine upgrade to a 160 would that then allow me to use the 150 stc?
