Hey guys I need a new rudder for my new J-3..Anyone have a rudder in good shape? It does not matter the cover is I am going to redo it...as long as it is straight..

Dont' buy any off of the guy selling them on ebay as NOS. They are NOT in NOS condition. Just pony up and buy one from univair or airframes inc. New is good!

When you do find one, make sure it will fit. My J-3 has three hinges on the rudder and elevators. Most others that I've seen have two. I hadn't noticed the difference until Steve Pierce pointed it out. ...Clyde

Okay all...I annied up and bought myself a new Rudder...from Univair..
Thanks for the leads...
The reason I am getting a new rudder is has one with a chekerboard and I wanted it stock..
I am keeping both so I can switch back and fourth.
Now you know the rest of the story..
