Gidday Gidday,
had a blast and went back to NZ to got my banner towing rating in the Christmas holidays. Have now returned to Japan and will see the sponsor dudes soon about really getting a little banner towing op going over here. Really have no idea what we're doing and would love to hear from the experts about which they reccomend towing - letters or bill boards?
Talking with Artcraft Aerial (formerly Gasser Banners) they've said my Cub could handle 35 seven foot letters or a 1100 square feet banner (20 by 55 feet).
However as its new to me I've decide to limit myself to towing smaller banners with my 150 horse '89 Cub.
Specifically I'm trying to decided whether to go for 25 7' letters or 10' by 40' billboards.
I tried to train with two companies one using billboards and the others letters and both strongly reccomend their particular banners. Leaving me none the wiser . . .
The weather screwed up the billboard towing training so I ended up just towing letters which went fine but they seemed like a real pain on the ground.
I'll meet the funding dudes within the week and will hopefully order the equipment pretty soon so would really love to hear from you banner masters please.
So what would you guys in the know recommend - go with the letters or with the billboards?
Cheers
