A couple of questions regarding heavy duty 3 inch extended gear. Regarding the structure, what is the typical pipe size and thickness of the main leg and brace leg?? Second, the additional three inches is in reference to what..additional three inches of the main leg measured down the leg or an additional three inches when measured on the verticle?? I am in process of scratch building a wide body and need to order some tubing for the landing gear. One last question, does anyone know the difference in weight between a wide body (4 inch) and standard fuselage?? Feedback greatly appreciated.
