GTP 59 OAT Probe position

Any ideas on best spot to mount GTP 59 OAT probe on SuperCub in G3X installation.

Punch a hole in an inspection cover on the bottom side of a wing for mounting. Leave plenty of wire so you can take the cover on and off easily. Ground it to a rib using a screw.

Under the removable wing root fairing on the left side - towards the rear if your left window is a swing up piece? This is where I saw most of the experimental installs at Oshkosh the other year.

I use the leading edge wing root fairing, doesn't usually need removal at annual inspection.

I fabricated an inspection cover between 2 mid-wing ribs, and mounted the magnetometer and OAT probe.

OAT in the propeller slipstream may give inaccurate readings.
