Gross Weight Increase With Edo 2000's

Does anybody have any current information about the STC that Kenmore was pursuing for the Supercub upping the legal gross to 2070# on Edo 2000 floats? At the trade show last May at the Fed Ex hanger in Anch. they said it was just about a done deal. I've tried emailing them but get no response.
