I made this primarily for the kids to learn from but it might have some info you're not aware of too.
With the "Pineapple Express" fired up over the spring & winter there has been a tremendous amount of gold moved in the western lower 48. I know you guys that detect in AK find some whopper nuggets on the tailings piles (I've done the same in Wy & ID) but the large ones in the lower 48 are generally found on the pediment area of mountains and the smaller ones on out. Anyway - best of luck hunting - there's already news articles on many nuggets turning up in Ca.
