Garmin GTR 225 tray compatible with SL40?

My SL 40 is giving me issues and I need a fast fix. Does anyone know if the GTR 225 is tray compatible with the SL40?

A little more web searching and I found my answer. It is not a slide in replacement.

Might anyone have a SL40 for sale or a loaner?

My SL-40 ran for decades with zero problems. It has a superb RF Section. But it was in my J3 - really difficult to use memory functions, and lousy internal intercom. Unfortunately, I sold it last month.

I replaced it with the Garmin GTR-200 - far superior display, infinitely better memory arrangement, best intercom I have ever used (we use it open mic in Cubs and the Stearman) and trivial installation. Only down side is the RF squelch circuitry - not nearly as good as standard com radios including Narco, King, and the SL-40, which was originally from Oregon. We live with the squelch problems - we ignore approach control and listen up for the tower. Worth it.
