firewall information

howdy,
tried seach to no avail,anyone have better ideas on firewall insulation and firewall interior covering,rebuilding with a wide body,so will have to do it from scratch.looking for a better interior insulation also.

Spruce sells a nice insulation which is fire retardant. They call it Super Sound proofing Sheet.

Got mine through WagAero...installed it last year and really looks good!

1 inch Duct lining. Get it at your local heating and air conditioning dealer. Fire resistant and fairly lightweight. glue it on the firewall and then cover with a good vinal the color of your interior.

Hi! Do you compress it with the tubes.? Or cut 3 pieces?

Its one piece, going off memory here but the only cut outs are where the engine mount bolts up. So 4 circular cut outs for engine mount and then yes the rest is compressed a bit where the tubs are close.
