Filling in the 337 on a computer

I no longer know how to use a typewriter. My choice is the teeny weenie print on form 337s on the internet, or filling them in with ballpoint. I have searched for ways to increase the font size and/or change the font, but have been unsuccessful.

Judging from what I am seeing, others are having the same problem - 337s almost look blank, the print is so small.

Any free online solutions?

.pdf

You can download a .pdf blank 337 from the FAA's site and save it on your computer. Then fill it in on your computer as needed. And you can increase the size as large as you want. If your doing multiple 337's for one plane save the first page data and then just type in the new information in the big block at the end.

I have one somewhere that is a fillable .pdf file. Let me know if i need to look for it. It will print large text and get smaller if it needs to fit into the box.

Bob, I sent you a PM I have one in Word format that I'd send you, if I have your email address.

Grant - that's the one I have been using. Cannot seem to make it do.
Gdafoe and behind - incoming e-mail. Thanks, gang.

I can redo it for you but it will be later this weekend. Do you want it to have larger fonts?

The font seems to be good on this form at the attached link. Filling in the set information is a good idea for doing multiple 337's but it won't let the user save any information. How do you save this information?

It seems like this ought to be really easy. These forms disable all my usual choices.

Most recent 337s look blank, because the type is so small it is dwarfed by the form. Gerald has struggled to help me, but my computer does not have access to normal stuff when the FAA pdf is on the screen.

I am having trouble saving the information on the front page. This format won't let me save the information so now, I have to re-type all the information in all over again for doing multiple forms. I might have the same problem about the fonts but don't know yet if it is going to be too small because I haven't printed it out yet. Will Word be easier to use than Adobe PDF? If so, I would like a copy in the word format too. Thanks.

Use the MS Word form - I have one also and will email it to you if you want it. It's a template that allows you to save your work.

Thanks to all. Gerald has sent me one that is now in my favorite airplane place. I had to change each and every line - 11 point looks great, except for my name and address under the mechanic block, which maxes out at 10 point. Once saved, I can modify without having to adjust each block.

Note to Steve - this is the one that ought to be available to all older mechanics. Nine point type is simply too small for the granny glasses set.

My 337s now look great!

My computer is acting up on me, won't let me fill out 337's the way I've done it a hundred times. Anyone have a MS Word version like what you guys have been talking about. I'm fed up with Adobe. Thanks.

Yep. I have one ready to send to you, thanks to the folks above eight years ago. Let me know where to send it. I don't know how to attach it to this forum, or I would do that.
