Dakota Cub Brake Master Cylinders/Fuel Site Gages STC'd

Yes, I would like to see a pressure test with say 80 lbs applied the the brake pedal and a pressure gauge on the fluid output side of the master cylinder. This would include Scott stock diaphram masters, CC / Northland brake boosters, Steves brake boosters and the new Dakota Cub master cylinders. I will buy what ever set up puts out the most pressure. Crash

I'm much more inclined to buy a system that has adequate pressure along with the best and smoothest delivery of that pressure. Locking brakes is easy. Smoothly applying pressure and NOT locking the brakes is what I'm after.

Our brakes have the same piston displacement as the North River also. They are 1 inch pistons. Biggest difference between ours and the Dakota is the mounting system. Ours mount directly into the original Scott frame, where Dakota removes the Scott system entirely and mounts to the floor in the same spot. Check out my Pictures Gallery here http://sparky.supercub.org/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=213 for some pictures of our unit hoked up to a test stand with a pressure gage to see the pressure deferences between ours and the original Scott diaphram. There are also a few pictures with the units installed.

I just got a set of Dakota brakes in, and they come with square screw on panels for the belly. It's nice they provide them, but I don't think I would use them. When changing master cylinders where there is no access, I've just cut a short slit under each bolt so I can slid a socket in to hold the nut, change everything out then just put a small patch over the slits. I suppose if you have a show plane you don't want to cut it, but this is just belly fabric.....
