Hi,
What is the best stuff to use to stick in the rear D windows on a Super Cub?
When we removed it the headlining and fabric seem to be stuck in there together with silicon sealer but it was a big job to remove.
Is super seam the stuff to use?

You talking about just the window or gluing the fabric into the d window channel? The Window just slides in after the fabric and the headliner have been glued in

Hi Bill, talking about gluing the fabric and headliner into the Chanel. Would you normally glue the headliner before the fabric?

cheers Bill

Don't get any glue on face of D frame, if the fabric glues to that surface it looks terrible.

Glue the fabric into the d window channel first using approved system glue. I used a few dozen scraps of aluminum strips to gold the fabric tight in the channel til the glue dried After it has dried you can trim the fabric in the BOTTOM of the window channel. Glue the headliner in after the fuselage is painted so you don't have to worry about getting overspray on the head liner. The adhesive that I used for the headliner was from Airtex

Drill a couple of 1/8 dia holes straight down in the lower leg of the steel channel so water won't stand there & rust the channel.
