Is it just me or is CubCrafters kind of "meh.."

I get the feeling that unless your writing a check for 200k for one of there planes they aren't very engaged...

Maybe just me..

I've worked with cubcrafters many times over the years and they have always gone out of their way to help. A number of times were just request for information not resulting in a sale of any kind. Give them another try, maybe just bad timing ?

Will keep an open mind, I have had good in the past especially with Vera.. Last few times it felt more like a department store than an aviation outfit..

Ordered some stuff from Austria/Europe with shipping address in the states. All worked perfect, especially the delivery within a time frame of four days to the hotel. A big thumbs up to Vera and Sara
Very customer orientated staff in my opinion...

I've placed several orders with CubCrafters over the past few months and had nothing but outstanding service from them. Very courteous, knowledgeable and very very fast delivery.

If all you have is a question, ask here. There is a great wealth of Cub knowledge here, and quite a bit of C-180 knowledge as well.

I like dealing with Stan and Jim, but I am not their clientele - my days of the quarter million dollar Cub never arrived.

Good service in the past on little items is one of the reasons I decided to have them build for me.

Total rebuild on our Cub couple years ago and ordering parts from Vera was an easy and helpful experience! Always the best!

They spent 20 minutes on the phone talking to me about the virtues of their VGs, no hard sell, just their experience, I was impressed with the info they offered and the manner it was given. I had many questions about their strakes and rather VGs should/could be used on the horiz if strakes were also used, they did their best to answer them all.

The year before last I was sitting around on Thanksgiving morning. At that time I was self grounded for a medical issue and wasn't 100% confident that I'd get my medical back. That uncertainty had me investigating LSA and Cubcrafters was the shining star in that category. I sent an email inquiry and figured I'd hear back after the holiday weekend. A few minutes later I got a response from Jim Richmond, who answered my questions about the Carbon Cub. I replied that I hadn't intended to interrupt anyone's holiday and that I appreciated his time, and he replied again. Little things make big impressions.

I purchases a SC from them several years ago, was quite pleased with the people and the whole transaction.

They recovered my Arctic Tern 22 years ago, fantastic work. I have since sold it so I don't know how it is holding up but at the 10 year mark all was well. The price was very fair too, great people to work with. Very pleased.

I have known Jim and Vera since the early 1980s and the beginning of the Super Cub Pilot's Association, and the first fly-in at Chamberlain Basin. They put out a newsletter for a number of years and I was their Safety Editor.
Their genuine interest in the Super Cub, increased safety, and putting out good information has been their way of doing business for many years. I hold them in the highest regard.

I've dealt with and bought from Cubcrafters since the '90s and have every time been pleased. They always did what they said they'd do, and they did it on time and on price. It's a pleasure to deal with them and I'm glad they exist. Jim, Stan, and others there have helped to advance and sustain our aircraft type. I'm glad I don't have to go to General Motors, Ford, Dodge (or Stihl) for parts or advice about airplanes.
