I'am considering installing a manifold pressure gauge in my Pa-12/160 h.p. with a 82''x 2 borer prop.would anyone have data-
fuel burn/r.pm./m.p.

I fly a 12 with the jpi system and put it in the airplane so i new how much fuel I burning and how much I had left. They are very accurate. Coupled to a gps and your in business. You can buy entry level fuel flow unit for about 450.00 I think from jpi.

For info on the jpi unit,it would be a help on long flights,could have used one last july ,ANC to N.M. Only so much panel space,i'am limited to one 2 1 /4'' space.Most cub panels i've seen are void of a m.p. gauge,any reasons? My brother flew bush for 25 yrs. used one in most all of his cubs.Wish i'd had paid more attention, when i flew with him.

Pa 12's did not come with a maniflold guage from the factory. Why do you want one. As you know they measure available power. The jpi is a 2.25 whole and the model 800 gives horsepower readings. Email me your address and I send you a picture of my panel. jeff
