Correct torque for PA12 Engine Vibration Isolators

We have a conflict of information that needs some clearing up. Just installed a fresh O-235-C1 engine in the plane with a new set of engine vibration isolators or what some people refer to as engine mounts. The torque value that I used was 350 to 400 in lbs (used by Lord). The local IA claimed that that value was too much and the value should be 40 inch lbs. No way - I can't believe it or trust it..... These isolators are made by Aero Fabricators Inc. Does anybody know the correct torque and where it would be documented? Aircraft documentation or manufacturer recommended?
