Cornucopia Flyin 2024…Short But Sweet!

Many thanks to Jeff Russell and the citizens of Cornucopia as well as the RAF. I had the pleasure of flying in yesterday first two Lakewood Lodge and then to Cornucopia. Today we had a fly out to Madeleine Island and it was beautiful.

There was much work to went into this event, and I hope you will put it on your calendar next year!

Bob and Judy Gillette were extremely welcoming hosts at Lakewood. It is an amazing place.

We will be working with the Minnesota Pilots Association to encourage flying over to enjoy this great airstrip!

The Mainland Sea Caves in the Apostle Island National Lakeshore. This is immediately adjacent to the Cornucopia Airfield. Some of you may remember my post from 2015 when we visited them in the winter.
