I'm challenged in the computer skills department therefore I couldn't seem to post in the classified section.

In need of a mid-to-low time 0-320 for a Cub, by end of June 06'.. Prefer a wide-deck but would also consider a narrow deck. Not interested in run-out cores, already got a couple.

0320 Narrow Deck 160HP

I am interested as to why you prefer the wide deck 160HP over the narrow deck. I have been pondering over purchasing a zero time 160HP Narrow Deck that I am aware of. Only thing I know is they are slightly lighter. Are their downsides?

I thought this might help someone. I had Penn Yan overhaul a narrow deck 0-320 last year. It was a Superior Millennium overhaul, with new investment cast cylinders, oil pump, gears, mags wiring, etc. The cost with a 5 yr transferable warranty was less than $ 20000 and this included a rebuilt crank shaft (turned to the first station - I've forgotten the exact name, but if my weak memory serves it can be turned 2 more times. I flew the plane for 12 months with cracked cylinders and the bent shaft and we all thought it performed just fine. All the problems showed up at my first annual. SOMETIMES A PA 18A FOR $ 50000 MAY NOT BE THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN. Jerry McCammon
