CAR 3

I've been searching and cannot find a copy (Online .PDF or whatever) of CAR 3. Does anyone have a link? Is it true, aircraft certified prior to 1965-ish are CAR 3? Thanks in advance.

Gary, thanks for the link. I looked it over and there is a section missing. I'm interested in 3.362, page 61, with regard to Tires. I don't know if it's been removed intentionally or exactly why it's missing but do you know of another complete source of it, I can't find one? Thanks for the help.

Yea I see the 1959 REV. is missing that.....how about a link for what you found? Some of that's here but takes a search> https://drs.faa.gov/browse

What version are you looking for? The first issue of CAR 3 was in 1946. It was reissued in 1949 and again in 1956. With each version there are multiple amendments that were added. so you need to know not only which version (1946, 1949 or 1956) but also the amendment level of that version. Pretty much all of them are available on the FAA Dynamic Regulatory System.
