building a wag aero 2+2/ upgraded pa14

got the next video edited and put up, for anyone following what I'm doing now or in the future as guidance for they're own build the videos have much more detail on how I do what I'm doing. or if you just wanna watch a guy in the woods try and figure out how to build a plane while having a drink of your choice here ya go!

 
got some more done on the plane yesterday.

made all the hinges for the rudder and elevator.

not sure if this is common practice but I capped the bottom of the tail post, there's a chance this plane might see salt water in its life so I figured sealing up a spot I cant rinse easy with fresh water or oil would be a good idea. I used an annular cutter to make a cap.

next I layed out the rear spring bracket.

to line it up and hold it in place I used a length of 1.5" flat bar that I drilled a hole in the center of to index into the tail spring bolt hole aligning it at the rear, then up front I set it center with a measuring tape. I then aligned the spring bracket with a line scribed into the aluminum.

after that was welded in I made the strap for the spring and bolted it up.
